Fury Tanks

About this game

Fury Tanks is an artillery duel drawn side-on. Your tank holds the left of a hilly, forested map and an opponent holds the right, with the ground between you shaped into ridges that shots have to clear or exploit.

The header carries the duel rather than a score: two long health bars face each other with a shield badge between them, and a coin counter sits at the far left. Both bars are visible at once, so you always know whether you are trading damage evenly.

How to play

Drag to set the shot and release to fire. Two figures appear beside the barrel as you drag, a power percentage and an angle in degrees, reading something like 63% and 17.5°, and a dotted arc sketches where that combination sends the shell.

The dotted arc is the whole skill of the game: it shows the start of the trajectory but not the landing, so you are extrapolating a curve rather than following a guide. The publisher's interface text also references fuel, bosses, direct hits, surrender choices, rewards and revives.

Tips

• Adjust angle before power. The dotted arc changes shape with angle and only its length with power, so finding the arc that clears the ridge first and then tuning distance takes fewer wasted shells than the reverse.
• Use the ridge between the tanks rather than shooting over it. A shell that lands short on the near slope still throws damage forward, while one that clears everything and lands long gives the opponent a clean reply.
• Watch both health bars before choosing a risky angle. They sit side by side in the header for a reason, and when you are ahead on damage the safe repeat of a shot that already worked beats hunting a direct hit.
